  I have only good things to say about Iowa State bank, especially after having to bank elsewhere for a while, when I moved away to college. They are not quite the most up-to-date bank but they have made some progress... (and even expanded the Des Moines area, (which is great because I go there often), ...since I left, but this being said their always have been very friendly and helpful, with excellent customer service! In my eyes it certainly makes up for it. And the biggest factor is back when I was 19 or 20, after making several phone calls to different banks, looking for a car loan, for my first car, they were the only bank who was willing to give me a very reasonable offer. Also, unlike other banks who would send a bounty man after you in the case when I wasn't able to make a monthly payment, when I had to leave work for a couple weeks, they worked with me, without any hesitation or showing any rude behavior's towards me and if I remember correctly they only charge me a $20 fee. Overall, Iowa State Bank, has Beautiful aesthetics from the outside and the inside and that only matches their customer service!! (FYI no I do not work for them nor have I ever not receiving any type of payment or reward for this just stating facts)
